About the Aintree Grand National
The Grand National, run at the famous Aintree race course in Liverpool, England, in April every year. 2015 was the 169th running of the famous race. The race is the culmination of the NH (National Hunt) jumps season which runs in England every year. There are a maximum of 40 runners allowed in the race. There used to be more but it was curtailed due to the amount of fallers and injuries to the horses.
