LADBROKES MAKE IT 8/1 for Wayne Rooney to become Man United's all-time leading goalscorer this weekend versus West Ham.
And the traders are offering 9/2 for the skipper to exceed United legend Bobby Charlton's tally of 249 in the EFL Cup Quarter Final next week, while 11/2 states he reaches the milestone against his boyhood club, Everton, next weekend.
The current chances recommend Rooney won't be leaving until he rewords the history books, with 1/33 stating he surpasses the record before leaving the club.
On the other hand, there's a 6/4 possibility of United constructing a statue of Wazza beyond Old Trafford at some time in the future.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes News said: “Rooney is continuing to set new records, and he may well include another one to his name this weekend.”
